The Town of Scott held its April 2021 town board meeting on Tuesday, April 12, 2021, at 5:40 PM at the Scott Town Hall. All board members were present along with Mary Shepherd, Nodji VanWychen, Lorry Erickson, Jack Potter, Dane Pasch and Larry Johnson.
Chairman Charles Huffman called the meeting to order and Clerk Jim VanWychen clerk read the minutes of the March 2021 board meeting. Minutes approved as read. Paul Shepherd gave the treasurers report. Our only outstanding bill is for 2021 fire contract with Town of Lincoln Fire Department, which we have not yet received. Supervisor Henry Van Wychen moved and Dan Draeger seconded a motion to accept treasurer’s report and file for audit. Motion passed.
Larry Johnson gave the road report. He did some tree trimming and patching on the roads. He needs to replace tube on Coyote Road. A discussion was held on what to do with tree branches from the trimming along Buckley Avenue by Asplundh Tree Service. It was agreed to hire Johnson and Sons Excavation to remove tree trimmings and pile them on Wetherby Cranberry Company land along Brunswick Road.
Supervisor Dan Draeger moved and Henry VanWychen seconded a motion to donate $150 to the Town of Lincoln Fire Department fireworks on July 3, 2021. Motion passed.
Town of Scott Board of Review will not be held until August this year because of the reassessment.
Next meeting will be Monday May 17, 2021, following the Pine Grove Cemetery Annual meeting at 5 PM at the Scott Town Hall.
Henry VanWychen moved and Dan Draeger seconded a motion to adjourn and pay bills. Motion passed.
