Town Chairman Chuck Huffman called the meeting to order. The agenda was reordered to allow Michael Nofsinger to discuss his concerns about his property in Norway Ridge and to review bids on sealcoating Copper Road prior to proceeding with the rest of the agenda items.
Mr. Nofsinger has purchased property in Norway Ridge and asked what the township could do to correct some of the property lines. The town will discuss with the town assessor at the board of review meeting on May 27. After talking with our assessor, we will also contact Jeremy Erickson at the Monroe County Land Records office.
The board also reviewed the bids on seal coating Copper Road. Fred Brown from Fahrner Corporation answered questions from the board. Due to the volatility of oil prices, the bid that Fahrner offered is good for 10 days. The seal coating contract will be signed by May 26.
