The Town of Scott held its April 2016 Board Meeting on Tuesday, April 19, 2016, at 6:45 PM at the Scott Town Hall. Board members Chuck Huffman, Dan Draeger, Henry Van Wychen, Paul Shepherd and Jim Van Wychen were all present, along with Lorry Erickson, Jack Potter and Kathy Johnson.
Chairman Chuck Huffman called the meeting to order and Clerk Jim Van Wychen read the minutes of the March 2016 board meeting. Minutes approved as read.
Paul Shepherd gave the Treasurer’s Report. Henry Van Wychen moved and Dan Draeger seconded a motion to approve the Treasurer’s Report and file for audit. Motion passed.
The widening of Copper Road was discussed. Dan Draeger moved and Henry Van Wychen seconded a motion to have Johnson and Sons Excavation replace the five tubes on Copper Road. Motion passed.
Other road projects for 2016 include: 100-foot wedge on Augusta Road, seal coating one-half mile on Auburn Road, repair shoulders on Brunswick Road, patching on Copper Road on north end from county Highway EW to hill, bridge repairs on Buckley Avenue, blacktop on Drake Avenue, and repairs to Crescent Road on section from County EW to State Highway 173.
The next town board meeting is set for Tuesday, May 17, 2016, at 6 PM at the Scott Town Hall.
Open Book is set for Wednesday, May 25, 2016, from 8 AM to 10 AM at the Scott Town Hall.
Board of Review is set for Friday, May 27, 2016, from 8 AM to 10 AM at the Scott Town Hall.
Henry Van Wychen moved and Dan Draeger seconded a motion to adjourn April Town Board meeting. Motion passed.
