The Town of Scott held its June board meeting on Monday, June 20, 2016, at 6 PM, at the Scott Town Hall. All board members present along with Jack Potter, Lorry Erickson, Mary Shepherd and Larry Johnson.
Town Chairman Chuck Huffman called the meeting to order and Town Clerk Jim Van Wychen read the minutes of the May board meeting. Minutes approved as read.
Paul Shepherd gave the treasurer’s report. Henry Van Wychen moved and Dan Draeger seconded a motion to approve treasurer’s report and file for audit. Motion Passed.
Larry Johnson gave the town road report. Work has been done on Crescent Road, widening out the shoulder on the east side. Chuck Huffman said that he received notice that there is no vegetation that would support Karner butterflies on Copper Road. We can therefore continue with the widening the shoulder on the east side of Copper Road from Buckley Avenue to State Highway 173. Henry Van Wychen moved and Dan Draeger seconded a motion to accept bid from Lambert Forest Products to remove trees from the right-of-way on Copper Road. Motion passed.
Primary election is set for Tuesday August 9, 2016.
Next meeting is set for Monday July 11, 2016.
