The Town of Scott Board met on Tuesday, April 19, 2022, at 5:50 PM at the Scott Town Hall. All board members present. Others attending were Larry Johnson and Mary Shepherd.
Chairman Chuck Huffman called the meeting to order and Clerk Jim Van Wychen read the minutes of March 2022 board meeting. Minutes approved as read.
Paul Shepherd gave the treasurer’s report. We have received the April state highway aids payment already and should receive the Payment in Lieu of Taxes from the state of Wisconsin at the end of this month. The PILT is received for federal lands that located in our township. Supervisor David Potter moved and Supervisor Henry Van Wychen seconded motion to accept treasurer’s report and file for audit.
Larry Johnson gave the road report. He replaced sign on bridge on Buckley Avenue and did some patching to town roads. He will replace yield sign on Curtiss Stoll Road. Larry will remove trees that are leaning in town road right-of-way. He will continue to widen out 1.4 miles on Copper Road from Brunswick Avenue to County Highway EW. Chuck will get second bid on seal coating roads for this summer.
Building permit for Dustin Deford on County Highway HH in the Town of Scott was discussed. Henry Van Wychen moved and David Potter seconded a motion to approve a building permit for a mobile home and garage on his property recently purchased. Motion passed.
The Ordinance for Alternative Claims Procedures was discussed. David Potter moved and Henry Van Wychen seconded a motion to approve the ordinance. Motion Passed. Ordinance will take effect upon posting of the minutes. A copy of the ordinance is posted below.

Henry Van Wychen moved and David Potter seconded motion to adjourn the April 2022 Town Board meeting. Motion passed.
