The Town of Scott held its February board meeting on Monday, Feb. 15, at 5 PM, at the home of Town Clerk Jim Van Wychen. All board members present. Also present were Nodji Van Wychen, Mary Shepherd and Larry Johnson.

Chairman Chuck Huffman called the meeting to order and Clerk Jim Van Wychen read the minutes of the January board meeting. Minutes approved as read.

Paul Shepherd gave the treasurers report. We did not receive the Town of Lincoln Fire Department contract for 2021 yet. All other bills are paid to date. Supervisor Dan Draeger moved and Henry Van Wychen seconded a motion to approve treasurers report and file for audit. Motion passed.

Larry Johnson gave the town road report. Our snowplow and tree clearing bill for last month was $5,470. Large trees on Crescent Road need to be cut down yet. Larry would have to bring in excavator to get them away from power lines when cutting them down. Chuck checked with a tree trimming service and they charge $135 per hour for boom truck and chipper. Chuck will get bid to have Buckley Avenue trimmed on south side of road. This will open up road more so snowplow truck does not hit branches and sun can melt road off faster.

For public input Monroe County Board Supervisor Nodji Van Wychen indicated that county Hwy ET off of state Hwy 21 will be redone this year.

The Town Comprehensive Plan was reviewed and copies were given to each board member to review by next meeting and suggest any changes that need to be made.
