The Town of Scott, Monroe County board meeting was held on Wednesday, March 11, 2026 at 5PM at the Town Clerk’s home, Jim Van Wychen, 3365 Auger Road, Warrens, WI. The meeting was called to order by Chairman, Henry Van Wychen. Tonya Gnewikow, supervisor read the minutes and also is taking the minutes of this meeting in the absence of the town clerk, Jim Van Wychen. Minutes approved as read.
Paul Shepherd, Treasurer gave the treasurers report. All the tax collections for Monroe County, Tomah School District and Western Technical College have been paid. Current Town check book balance is $91,458.20. Kade Gnewikow, supervisor made a motion to approve the March, 2026 treasures report and file for audit. Motion passed.
For the town road report, Larry Johnson presented his February snow plowing invoice for $1,312.50. Larry will check on any town road signs that need repair. Starting the first week in April, notices for ARIP road project on Copper Road will be published.
April 7, 2026 general election will we held at the Town of Scott Hall, 28788 Buckley Avenue from 7AM to 8PM. Election workers will be Trey Gnewikow, Kade Gnewikow and Jamie Potter.
The annual town meeting will be held on Wednesday April 22, 2026 at 5 PM at the Town of Scott Hall. Following the annual town meeting the April town board meeting will be held.
The pre test of the election voting equipment for the April 7, 2026 general election will be held March 30, 2026 at 6 PM at the Town Clerk’s home Jim Van Wychen, 3365 Auger Road, Warrens.
Kade Gnewikow moved and Henry Van Wychen seconded motion to adjourn the March, 2026 town board meeting. Motion passed.
