The Town of Scott held its September board meeting on Monday, Sept. 27, 2021, at 5 PM, at the Scott Town Hall. All board members present along with Jack Potter, Larry Johnson, Nodji Van Wychen and Mary Shepherd.
Chairman Charles Huffman called the meeting to order and Clerk Jim Van Wychen read the minutes of August board meeting. Minutes approved as read.
Paul Shepherd gave the treasurer’s report. The town will receive its last state highway aids payment for 2021 on Oct. 1. Supervisor Dane Pasch moved and Henry Van Wychen seconded a motion to approve treasurer’s report and file for audit.
Larry Johnson gave the road report. Repairs to Drake Avenue have been done and should be good until next spring when the board will look at road again. Also patching on roads is up to date. So far 2.6 miles of shoulder work has been done on Copper Road. Balance of shoulder work will be done next year.
The town’s American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) fund report needs to be done in October. A System Awards Management number has to be filed for to complete the report requirement. Our ARPA funds are being held in a separate account. The funds need to be used by Dec. 31, 2024.
Our next meeting will be our 2022 Budget meeting on Nov. 15, 2021, at the Scott Town Hall. There will be NO meeting in October.
Supervisor Henry Van Wychen moved and Dane Pasch seconded a motion to adjourn September board meeting. Motion passed.
