The Town of Scott held its April, 2026 Town Board meeting on Wednesday, April 22, 2026 at 5:45 PM at the Town of Scott Hall, 28788 Buckley Ave. All board members present along with Nodji Van Wychen and Larry Johnson. Chairman Henry Van Wychen called the meeting to order and Jim Van Wychen, Clerk read the minutes of the March board meeting. Minutes approved with a correction to date scheduled for the April meeting. Paul Shepherd gave the treasurers report. The town has a checkbook balance of $98,805.45 and savings account balance of $49,050.86. Kade Gnewikow moved and Tonya Gnewikow a motion to approve the treasurers report and file for audit. Motion passed.
Larry Johnson gave the town road report. He will replace town road signs that have faded out over the years. He will look at Crescent Road and Drake Avenue and haul gravel that is needed to repair.
Bid opening for the Copper Road project second portion will be 10AM May 7, 2026, 10AM at the Scott Town Hall, 28788 Buckley Ave. Bid approval for the Copper Road project will be at the May town board meeting, May 14, 2026 at 5PM.
Town of Scott Open Book is Thursday May 7, 2026 from 8AM to 10AM at the town of Scott Hall.
Town of Scott Board of Review is Thursday May 14, 2026 from 8AM to 10AM at the Town of Scott Hall, 28788 Buckley Ave.
The May Town of Scott board meeting will be held at 5PM at the Town of Scott Hall, 28788 Buckley Avenue.
The Pine Grove Cemetery meeting will be held at 4PM at the Town of Scott Hall.
